Introduction: Hepatocellular carcinoma is the most common liver cancer and is a disease with poor prognosis. In addition to its function as a neurotransmitter and vascular active molecule, Serotonin is also a mitogen for hepatocytes and promotes liver regeneration and may be involved in tumorigenesis of HCC. Methods: The study conducted on 136 patients and 20 healthy subjects as control group.
